By downloading or using the Altrillio iOS app (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Altrillio is
Altrillio is a self-practice tool for adults who want to learn how to roll their R. It listens to your voice through your iPhone's microphone and provides feedback about whether your attempt produced a rolled R.
2. What Altrillio is not
Altrillio is not a medical device, a speech therapy service, or a substitute for professional consultation. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, including speech disorders, articulation disorders, or developmental delays.
If you have a persistent speech difficulty, a diagnosed speech disorder, or are concerned about a child's speech development, please consult a licensed speech-language pathologist. The feedback provided by Altrillio is for entertainment and practice purposes only and should not be used as a medical assessment.
3. Age requirement
Altrillio is intended for users 13 years of age or older. By using the app you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.
4. Your purchase
The app is sold through the Apple App Store under Apple's terms of sale. The price is a one-time purchase at the amount displayed on the App Store at the time of your purchase. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden in-app purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the app to harass, defame, or harm others.
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to circumvent any technical measures intended to control access to the app or its features.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, its underlying technology, its name, its logo, and all related content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own private practice. You do not receive any ownership rights in the app.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will produce any particular result for any particular user. Some users may find the feedback more or less useful depending on their environment, microphone, and individual physiology.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the providers of the app be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to acquire the app.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Slovakia, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
