Your voice stays on your phone.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Altrillio iOS application (the "app") accesses on your iPhone, what happens to it, and what we never do.

The short version

Microphone access

Altrillio asks for permission to use the microphone the first time you start a practice session. The app uses the microphone only while a session is actively running. The moment you stop a session — or background the app — recording stops.

Audio is held only in memory during the session for the purpose of giving you real-time feedback. It is not written to disk, not uploaded to any server, and not shared with any third party. When the session ends, the audio is discarded.

Camera access (optional)

You can optionally enable a live front-camera mirror inside the practice screen so you can watch your mouth and tongue while you practice. Camera access is purely preview — the video feed is shown only on your screen, is never recorded, never written to disk, and never transmitted. If you do not enable the mirror, the app never accesses the camera.

What we store on your device

The app saves a small amount of data locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:

This data stays on your iPhone. It is never transmitted to us or any third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed by iOS.

What we do not collect

Payments

Altrillio is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple under their own privacy policy. We never see your payment information.

Children

Altrillio is intended for users 13 and older. It is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children. The app does not have an account system, so no personal information is associated with any user.

Changes to this policy
